2018 Closing the Gap: Transcending the Gender Wage Divide

Closing the Gap: Transcending the Gender Wage Divide, April 10, 2018, 5:30 p.m., Malott Room, Kansas Union

Did you know that on average, women must work through 2017 and into mid-April of 2018 to make the same amount of money that men earned in 2017 alone? Statistically, women of color would have to work even longer: Black women until August, Indigenous women until September, and Latina women until November of the following year.

Join the KU Career Services Alliance and The Emily Taylor Center for Gender Equity for an impactful conversation to learn about salary equity issues from a panel of experienced professionals and develop salary negotiation skills. Light refreshments will be provided!
