2018 Design Career Fair

The 2018 Design Career Fair will be held on Tuesday, February 27, 2018, 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. on the 6th floor of the Kansas Union. This event provides an opportunity for KU  Design and design affiliated students (theatre design, visual arts, etc.) students to network with industry employers and learn about available career opportunities.

Get your LinkedIn picture taken:

The University Career Center will provide free professional Linkedin profile pictures for students that attend the career fair. The Linkedin booth will be available starting at 12:00 p.m., on the day of the event in the Kansas Union.

What to wear to the career fair:

Employers will expect students to be dressed in professional business attire. Business attire is conservative and consists of neutral colored suits and accessories.

Registration:

Register today! Design Career Fair, February 27, 2018, 1:00 to 4:00 pm, Kansas Union, 6th floor.

Early Registration fee before December 15, 2017 is $150.00. Standard registration fee after December 15, 2017 is $175.00. Two representatives are included in the registration fee. Additional representatives are $50 each. Electricity is an additional $25.

Registration includes lunch, refreshments, one 6 foot table, and one voucher for the parking garage adjacent to the Kansas Union.  Lunch takes place from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.  Employers who plan to attend the luncheon need to indicate this on their registration.

Employer parking:

Beginning at 10:00 a.m., we will have staff on Level 4 of the parking garage north of the Kansas Union to assist you with your materials: directions.

Interview information:

Next-Day Interviews will be held February 28th. Please indicate on your registration form if you would like to participate and if so, how many interview schedules you would like.  If you wish to schedule interviews for a different date, contact Natalia Plotnikov, nplotnikov@ku.edu, 785-864-2019.
